Color guard classes
Want to learn to spin a flag? Rifle? Sabre? You've come to the right place!
Level One- Flag
Level one twirl is designed for new students, that have had no prior classes in color guard/flag.
Our color guard classes meet once a week for an hour. Each student must purchase their own flag pole and practice flag. The flag and pole are $30.00. Cost is minimal and the reward is great. No experience is necessary. Age is 10 years of age and up. Students march in local parades, community events, as well as end of the year recital. Come and learn dance, flags, and swing flag, all while working together as a team.
Level Two Color Guard
Level two color guard classes are designed for students who have mastered level one flag skills.
Now that you know the basics, it's time to incorporate those skills with dance and movement, formation changes, and musicality skills. Level two color guard members will be introduced to basic rifle work. These classes meet once a week for one hour. The cost is $40.00 and are open to any student who has finished level one. Students march in local parades, community events, as well as end of the year recitals.
Level Three Color Guard
Are you ready to perform in local and state contest? This class is designed for any and all students who have mastered level two flag skills as well as rifle fundamentals.
The girls will learn intermediate flag and rifle skills. The use of dance and movement are in high demand in this class. This class is only offered to students who want to compete in local and state contest.
